The unemployment rate of youth graduates reaches 28% in the West Bank, and 73% in Gaza (PCBS 2022). Less than one fifth of working-age women take part in the workforce in Palestine, against almost 70% of men. CYEE is strongly committed to tackle gender bias in career choices and advocate for equal opportunities for all. We equip young Palestinians with the necessary skills to enter the labor market. Our interventions are tailored to target specific groups, including young mothers; school dropouts and other youth at risk. We follow internationally-recognized methods to transfer the tools and knowledge required on today’s changing labor market. We have experience working with public and private partners, including the Ministry of Education, in developing Vocational Training programs and fostering connections between trainees and employers. We put our wide network of stakeholders at the service of Youth, through the delivery of orientation events, career counselling and on-the-job training opportunities
