Safe Spaces

Creating safe and inclusive spaces is essential for fostering personal growth, social engagement, and economic empowerment. At CYEE, we support and develop community spaces that provide youth and women with opportunities to learn, connect, and build their futures in secure and supportive environments.

Our Multipurpose Activity Centers (MACs) serve as dedicated spaces for women to access resources, training, and community support. These centers provide vocational training and skill-building programs to enhance economic independence, psychosocial support and wellness activities to promote mental well-being, and safe environments where women can engage in dialogue, express themselves, and participate in decision-making. Additionally, they feature child-friendly spaces that allow mothers to take part in activities while ensuring their children are in a secure setting.

We collaborate with Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) to create safe spaces for children and youth, offering educational workshops, leadership training, and recreational activities that encourage expression, teamwork, and self-confidence. Through these partnerships, we ensure that young people have access to supportive environments where they can grow personally and engage meaningfully in their communities.

Through these spaces, CYEE creates opportunities for youth and women to thrive, ensuring they have the support and resources they need to shape their futures.
